An incredible amount of work goes into football first down lines on TV

This video points out the most common (and most commonly overlooked) graphic of any televised football game: the yellow first down line. It’s so impressive that you couldn’t be blamed if you thought it were really on the field. Have you ever noticed how players can step over the line without appearing yellow? That means the line isn’t just covering the pixels on the screen. So how do they do it? Take a look.
