  I'd be interested to hear what kind of tone they get out of these, typically wood used in skateboard decks wouldn't have the same resonance and tone. Same with action and playability, skateboard decks flex which could cause some irregularities in intonation and action.

  But hey, you'd probably playing punk with these some none of that really matters. Nice grungy high-end dirty tone, not quite in tune, I imagine these guitars would sound perfect playing old Dead Kennedys songs 🙂

  I saw a beauty of layered wood selections a while back, base and it came out in varied light brown sections, like a good quality furniture Veneer montage or mosaic, almost a picture in wood. Great design. I wondered if it played true notes or would dull the output?
