Concussions and the future of football

At the very least, about ten percent of pros in the NFL wind up with Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), which is a degenerative brain disease that causes dementia, suicidal tendencies, and more. Some people have suggested that the link between football and CTE might spell the end of football. That seems unlikely, but it’s clear there needs to be a change. This video explores the ways that athletes and doctors alike are working together to make the game safer.
