How medically accurate was the show “House”?

The TV show “House” was one of––if not the–– most popular medical dramas of all time. Closely modeled on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous creation, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Gregory House is a brilliant physician who solves the medical mysteries that were too challenging for every other doctor around. In the course of the episode, House and his team invariably solve the mystery. Fans might wonder how accurate the show is from a medical standpoint.
