Why European clocks are running slow but British ones aren’t

Because the frequency of the power that goes through the grid is stable over time, clocks can maintain their accuracy. But there’s a problem on the continent. Kosovo is low on power and Serbia isn’t helping manage that power problem, so the entire European system (which is one big, connected grid) is running behind. Six minutes behind, as it happens.
