Why the acting in “The Network” (1976) is so darn good

Well, it was hilarious at the time, much of the humor is lost on us now. At any rate, the movie’s actors won a boat load of awards for their performances, and much of that is due to the screenwriter’s meticulousness. This video digs into why the actors worked so hard to perform the way the did, and how the screenwriter guided that process.
